Whimpper was a Senior Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche, with 24 years of experience that includes mainly audit planning and supervision to the financial statements, financial consolidation, training and consulting in implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards, internal audit, management consulting, due diligence and business valuation.

He is a teacher at Espitiru Santo University and Guayaquil University
