Stephen Beresh is a partner with more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, providing audit, accounting, and advisory services to privately held companies across a wide range of industries. He serves as the firm’s lead resource for auditing and accounting matters, with specialized expertise in employee benefit plan audits and complex assurance engagements.

In addition to his technical leadership role, Stephen works closely with entrepreneurial and growth-oriented businesses on strategic planning, operational challenges, business development, and financial reporting matters. Clients value his practical, direct approach and his ability to balance technical accounting expertise with real-world business insight.

Stephen is a graduate of Oakland University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

When not in the office, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, backpacking, and bike riding.
