Matt joined Lohman Company as a partner on January 1, 2020. He currently serves as a Partner in the Project and Accounting Services area of the firm focusing on managing project professionals. He strives to build long-term relationships with business leaders and professionals which enables him to help clients successfully complete their high-priority initiatives. He has a history of serving clients in many different industries.

Matt has been a professional in the accounting field for nearly three decades and has amassed a wealth of valuable experience. For the past 16 years he served as Vice President – Market Leader for a large global professional services firm. Previously, he spent three years as an audit senior with a Big Four CPA firm, three years in private accounting, and seven years as a CFO/COO for a healthcare company.

A dedicated professional and devoted team player, Matt always brings high energy to his work. When he was in high school, he had some mentors who were in public accounting who advised him that the field would be a good fit for him. As a result, Matt entered college and made a commitment to success. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the School of Accountancy Professional Advisory Board’s Scholar award. Matt has found great success in his accounting career due to his strong work ethic and philosophy of always treating people right.

Raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Matt continues to live in Scottsdale with his wife. They have two adult children. Matt is a very active “outdoors person” and loves living in the Valley of the Sun where it allows him to enjoy his passion of cycling. He generally rides six days per week and 7,500+ miles per year (and has done so for 20 years!). Matt also is an avid fly fisherman and typically finds a way to throw a line in the water on most vacations. Finally, Matt enjoys snow skiing and going to the beach, activities which are within just a short drive from home.
