Arthur A. Gude LL.M. is a Director HR-Tax | Global Mobility Services at Londen & Van Holland. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (de Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs or NOB) and has over 23 years of experience.

Arthur studied fiscal law at the University of Amsterdam. In 2000 he graduated with a master’s degree and started his fiscal career with Deloitte (previously Arthur Andersen) in the Human Capital Tax practice. In 2023, he joined Londen & Van Holland. Arthur has in-depth knowledge of cross border employment solutions, e.g.:

• Advising companies and their employees on various aspects of cross-border employment (e.g., wage tax, income tax, social security, pension/401-K, health insurance, VISA requirements and labour law) to ensure compliance with (Dutch) legislation
• Research and analysis of tax issues relating to business transactions and tax implications (e.g., permanent establishment or permanent representative issues)
• International mobility policies, compensation & benefits programs for employees and executives
• Global reward or equity related compensation (shares, share options, share savings plans, deferred or restricted share schemes, SAR’s etc.), management participations, salary-splits and severance payments
• Advising on (fixed) cost allowances and arranging approvals from the Dutch tax authorities
• Arranging of advance tax rulings with the Dutch tax authorities
• Managing of wage tax audits or due diligence investigations
• Advising companies about the Labour Cost Regulation (“Werkkostenregeling”)
• Advising companies about the chain-/recipient liability
• Determination of employment relationships of (fictitious-)employees and self-employed consultants

Arthur’s clients operate in a wide range of different businesses such as construction, food industry, IT industry, infrastructure, oil and gas industry, and transport sector.
