As I'm writing this piece for Inside Integra, we have just finished a Town Hall meeting on zoom for the EMEIA region where seventeen of our members took part.
It was a lively discussion with the members updating us on events within their own businesses.
Our new members from Warsaw introduced themselves and we heard of some interesting examples of how members are using artificial intelligence within their practices. There was also some discussion on how enjoyable the recent Tax Workshop had been, which was hosted in Vienna by Franz Schweiger who reported on the event. Many of those taking part were looking forward to attending our conference in Paris.
Our member from Zug in Switzerland, Gilles Thiery, made it clear how important it was to him to attend conferences and meet fellow members. He said that in his many years of membership of Integra he mostly did business with those people who he had met. Of course, he said �if I need help in a specific country, I will talk to the Integra member there, but it is so much easier to do business with someone who you have met and spoken to face to face and that is why attendance at conferences is so important.�
I know that for many of our members attendance at conferences is expensive and time consuming but I must agree with Gilles that attendance at conferences is the key to unlock the most profitable experience resulting from your membership of Integra.
During the 20 years of membership of my firm as the London members of Integra I attended as many conferences as I could. As a result, I worked with many members from as far away as Australia and as close to home as Bristol � just 120 miles from London.
I believe I can say without question that all my relationships with Integra members were fruitful and enjoyable. And it never stops. Only today I was asked to make an introduction to a member, and I was able to say how they were lovely to work with as I had done so!

Integra Announces New Members
Integra International is very pleased to announce the admittance of two new members. GAYCA Auditores in San Sebasti�n (Donostia), Spain and Independent Tax Advisers Doradztwo Podatkowe Sp. z o.o. (ITA) in Warsaw, Poland.
GAYCA Auditores joined Integra in July 2024. It is a multidisciplinary firm based in San Sebasti�n (Donostia), in the northern region of Gipuzkoa, the Basque Country. The firm was constituted in 1987 by two founders, I�aki De la Caba Nanclares and Juan Manuel Gallo, and today they are 4 partners, 6 professional staff, 24 paraprofessional staff and 4 clerical staff.
The firm's service portfolio is wide and diversified. It includes advanced professional financial audit services as well as specialized advisory services. In particular, the firm provides audit, accounting, tax, payroll and legal services. All services are offered in Basque and Spanish, and English and French is spoken as well.
Main contact for Integra is Telmo De la Caba Guzman, Managing Partner of the firm, specializes in Audit and Assurance. Telmo was four years auditor at ERNST & YOUNG and became then Financial Controller at Compa��a Vinicola del Norte de Espa�a S.A (CVNE). In 2021 he joined GAYCA as Managing Partner.

Independent Tax Advisers (ITA) joined Integra end of July 2024. The firm was founded in January 2024 and has three partners, Joanna Kanicka-Zi�lkowska, Alicja Kadzinska and Dorota Baczewska-Golinska, 6 qualified professional staff, and 2 paraprofessional staff. They all speak English.

Some of our Integra members already had the pleasure to meet Dorota in person during our Cross Border Tax Workshop 2024 in Vienna, and to meet Alicja online during the last Town Hall Meeting. Joanna will be joining us for the Global Conference 2024 in Paris.
ITA provides services to large international businesses, Polish companies, and to small- and medium-size entrepreneurs looking for assistance in developing their newly incorporated undertakings. ITA advises them on planned and performed transformations, on mergers and acquisitions, in the process of liquidation of economic entities, and offer comprehensive tax advisory services to their clients.

2024 Cross Border Tax Workshop
The 19th Integra Cross Border Tax Workshop was held this year in Vienna, Austria. Thirty participants from 11 countries came to discuss the measures taken in their countries against "Tax Avoidance and Tax Havens". It was a great pleasure to have participants from Japan and the USA with us, and our members from Ukraine. The group was particularly happy to meet and welcome our new members from Paris and Bonn, from Warsaw, and our members from Perchtoldsdorf, Austria who came for the first time to an Integra event.
We heard very interesting and informative presentations from the participants. There were good discussions on the topic and during the breaks there was good social interaction between Integra members.
The two dinners reflected Austrian tradition and hospitality and we all enjoyed good food, good wines, and good company.
