What a wonderful time we had in San Diego! Our AAANZ Conference was a tremendous success, and it was truly a joy to connect with so many of you in person. A heartfelt thank you to our host firm, Swenson Advisors, for their warm hospitality and exceptional events throughout the conference. The dinner at the University Club was a highlight for many of us, and a special thank you to Zoro for making it such a memorable evening!
Gathering in person with fellow Integra members is one of the greatest benefits of our association. The relationships built and strengthened at these events are invaluable, and I hope you left San Diego feeling inspired and reconnected.
The good news is that we have two exciting opportunities coming up to continue that momentum. I encourage you to join us at the EMEIA Conference in Malta June 4-6 and our Global Conference in Amsterdam, October 22-24. These events are not to be missed, so mark your calendars and plan to attend!
We are also thrilled to welcome Dr Vanessa Borg as Integra’s new Chief Communications Officer. Vanessa brings a wealth of experience and a strong passion for our association, and we are excited about the impact she will make in this new role. We look forward to the energy, expertise, and fresh perspective she will bring to our global community. For those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to meet Vanessa in person, she will be joining our upcoming conferences, with the next opportunity to connect being at the Malta conference.

Welcome, Dr. Vanessa Borg, Integra's New Chief Communications Officer

Dr Vanessa Borg has recently been appointed as the Chief Communications Officer of Integra International.
In this role, Dr Borg will lead the organisation’s strategic communications function, driving initiatives aimed at enhancing Integra International’s global profile, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and supporting collaboration across its international association. She brings a strategic and people-focused approach to communications, supported by extensive experience in leadership, organisational development, and business transformation.
As part of her vision for the role, Dr Borg intends to focus on strengthening member integration and community engagement across the association.

Her priorities include promoting member success stories and cross-border collaboration opportunities, encouraging stronger engagement between member firms, and creating community-driven experiences that foster meaningful professional relationships and trust across the global association.
She also intends to introduce initiatives that enhance member connectivity through informal peer networking forums, cultural and experiential events, member-hosted regional experiences, and social engagement activities that complement Integra’s established conferences and technical forums, further strengthening collaboration and engagement across the association.
A key area of focus will also be leveraging the strength of the Integra association to create greater value for member firms by encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, strategic partnerships, and increased cross-border opportunities across the global community.
Her objective is to contribute towards building an even more connected and engaged international association that strengthens relationships, increases referral opportunities, enhances long-term membership value, and maximises the collective strengths of the organisation.
Commenting on the appointment, Olivier Lefebvre, Global Chair of Integra International, said:

Vanessa brings a strong combination of strategic leadership, international experience, and a people-centred approach that aligns closely with our vision for the future. Dr Borg added:
“I am honoured to take on this additional role with Integra International and to contribute to an organisation built on collaboration, trust, and international connectivity. I look forward to working closely with member firms across the association to strengthen engagement, promote meaningful collaboration, and create initiatives that further enhance the value and collective strength of the Integra community.”
Dr Borg has over 20 years of senior leadership experience across a diverse range of industries, including gaming, financial services, professional advisory, insurance, hospitality, education, and consultancy. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, together with an MPhil, MBA, and Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Economics. Alongside her role with Integra International, Dr Borg serves as Chief Operating Officer at ARQ Group, where she leads operational strategy and oversees internal functions with a focus on organisational alignment, operational excellence, and business performance. She also plays a key role in Strategy and HR advisory, supporting organisational development, employee engagement, and strategic transformation initiatives.
