Welcoming New Chief Operating Officer Mark Saunders

Former Global Chair of Integra International®, Mr. Saunders joined the Association back in 2004. He brings to Integra International his many years of experience in corporate audit and accounting as Partner at Wilder Coe Chartered Accountants Ltd, a London-based advisory firm with two UK offices and a team of over 50 people. Mark has worked across different sectors and has also been involved in sales and acquisitions. “I have always enjoyed a close relationship with my clients and firmly believe that high professional standards and excellent levels of service are the key to a successful practice”, he says.
Mr. Saunders will fulfil the role of Chief Operating Officer on a part-time basis as he prepares to retire from practice. His duties will include carrying out the plans and objectives of the Global Board, providing direction to regional administrators, organizing a number of global conferences and events held by Integra International as part of their efforts to facilitate networking and knowledge sharing, while also coordinating and developing member services, marketing activities and supporting Integra International’s Membership Manager and International Ambassador, Mr. Cheslav Denissenko, in growing the Association.

Lois Pares - Integra Asia Pacific Admin

Lois Pares

In order to support our growing ASIA Pacific Region, Integra has hired a full time Administrator based in the Philippines. Lois Pares has a degree in communications and previously worked as a Client Operations Executive with Nielsen – a leading global information and measurement company. Lois brings a wealth of skill and experience to Integra and she will be an important part of the AAANZ Chapter as well.

Kathy Rose - Americas Admin

Kathy Rose

Integra has hired Kathy Rose as Administrator for the Americas region. Prior to joining Integra, Kathy operated a successful social media strategy and consulting business serving a wide variety of clients including local businesses, municipalities, restaurants, non-profits, private schools and more. She has a degree in marketing. Her background and expertise will serve the AAANZ Chapter well. Kathy is based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Integra International’s Growth in a Pandemic Year

Founded in 1994, Integra International is an interactive global association of more than 135 local independent accounting, tax, and consulting firms. Swenson Advisors has been a member of Integra International since 2000, and Steve Austin has been very active in its Board leadership and is currently on its Global Board.

Integra has been a participant in the International Accounting Bulletin’syearly survey. The IAB’s yearly global survey and rankings are well regarded throughout the accounting industry and serve as a benchmark for organizations’ performance. This year’s IAB World Survey includes information from 52 global organizations, 30 networks and 22 associations.

Positive growth in fee income was seen across most regions for both networks and associations, with the exception of Latin America. In terms of staffing, growth was also seen in most regions despite the impact of Covid-19. Integra International’s growth in the industry was substantial, as shown in the chart below.
