A Message from the COO,

As summer approaches for me in the United Kingdom I look back on two fabulously successful conferences in Panama and Athens and again thank our hosts and all of those who attended for making them such memorable events.  I hope you've had the chance to watch the conference videos. If not, please visit our LinkedIn page or YouTube channel to view and like them. Increased engagement helps raise awareness of Integra International. We're continuously working to enhance our social media presence and increase our global reach. 

We now look forward to our tax workshop in Vienna on September 14th and Global Conference in Paris on October 24th to 26th. The invitations to both these events should be with you by the time you read this or shortly after. Please do book early so that we can finalise arrangements. I look forward to seeing you in Paris!

One of the advantages of attending conferences is to hear from our members how their firms are prospering and to get feedback on the activities of Integra. We held a very interesting and fun impromptu feedback session in Athens and I'm grateful for the enthusiastic participation of the delegates. I have shared that feedback with the Global Board and many of the suggestions will be acted upon.

One matter which arose during conversations with members was that occasionally when a request is made of an Integra member for assistance that member does not reply quickly and sometimes not at all. I was disappointed to hear this and would remind all members that it is part of their obligation as a member of Integra International to assist one another promptly. Prompt attention to inquiries from other members helps to reinforce the strength of our association and builds trust amongst its members. If however, any member is having difficulty in obtaining a response then I would urge them to contact me or one of the administrators and we will see what we can do to help.

A membership association is only as strong as its members, and we are fortunate at Integra to have so many who are willing to actively participate, contribute to our activities, and support each other. I thank you all and look forward to seeing you soon

Integra Announces New Member

Our employees share the same values in an integrated and uniform way.

Meet Mr. Victor Serr�o, our main contact at Pitmen Auditores Independentes. He is a tax partner, in charge of Pitmen�s international expansion, and the group�s CMO. He has worked for some of the biggest auditing firms in the industry, giving him roughly 20 years of experience in tax and advisory. He is currently pursuing a Master�s in Marketing & Business Strategy at ESPM, with prior education in Law, Accounting, and Marketing. He has experience across various segments, including oil and gas, energy, mining, real estate, telecommunications, sanitation, media, and entertainment, among others, working on projects involving Tax Compliance, Due Diligence, IPOs, Tax Planning, and Business Modelling both in Brazil and internationally. He is also in charge of the tax services outsourcing division.

Mr. Andr� Pimenta has served as managing partner of Pitmen for six years, as well as an audit partner and the technical head of Pitmen at the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM). He has over 20 years of audit and advisory experience, having spent 15 of those years at top market audit firms. He is registered with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC), the National Register of Independent Auditors (CNAI), and the Institute of Independent Auditors of Brazil (IBRACON). He graduated with a degree in accounting from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). He has experience across a variety of segments, including oil and gas, energy, mining, real estate, telecommunications, sanitation, media, and entertainment, among other sectors. Due to his solid understanding of American and international accounting and auditing standards, including PCAOB, he has focused his career on serving multinational companies and public companies. He has led teams of up to 50 members, including tax, IT, actuaries, engineers, corporate finance professionals, and internal controls for entities registered with the CVM, SEC, FCA, and AMF. He has experience in public offering processes (ICVM 400, ICVM 476, CTA23, Regulation 144a, Regulation S), focusing on the preparation and review of financial statements, offering memoranda, and press releases. He has also been actively involved in private placement and mergers and acquisitions processes, particularly in financial modeling. Andr� is a speaker, in Portuguese and English, at events accredited by the CRC and IBRACON. His international experience includes 2 years working with EY Houston, and as a component team leader, he led audit reporting to dozens of member firms in the USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Israel, and China, among others.
