A Message from the COO,

There is no doubt in the minds of all the active members of Integra that the best way of gaining the most from your membership is by attending our regular conferences. It gives you the opportunity to build lasting professional relationships and personal friendships and it is interesting to consider why this may be the case. There is just something reassuring and special about meeting a professional colleague face to face sharing a meal with them or discussing subjects of mutual interest. It demonstrates commitment and mutual support. I find it wonderful to observe those initial meetings between members who may only have seen each other before on Zoom meetings or the smiles of recognition, warm handshakes and hugs when meeting for a second or further time.

We are all professionals, and we know before we arrive at a conference that we will have much in common with those attending. When I first began networking in earnest as part of my professional development, I learned how easy it was to find something that you had in common with someone that you were meeting for the first time. The best examples included where you had been on holiday; whether you had a pet or played a musical instrument; what you most enjoyed studying at school or college; which sports you followed and of course we all love sharing information about our families. Thus, we build relationships which extend into our professional lives and help us to grow our businesses.

The dates for our conferences this year are almost all finalised. We do not like to publicise them until we have actually signed our hotel contracts, but we will be in Panama from May 16th to the 18th and that hotel contract is signed. Similarly, we will be in Paris in October 24th to the 26th where the contract is also signed. We are just about to sign the contract for Athens which will take place in June 20th to 22nd and are planning to be in Vienna on Saturday September 14th for our Cross Border Tax Workshop. A note of caution - the contracts for Athens and Vienna are not yet agreed and therefore these dates could change so please do not book your flights just yet, we will let you know when the dates are finalised.

But please do make a note in your calendars now and attend at least one of our conferences this year.  I look forward to meeting you there.

His main clients were banks, insurance providers, asset management firms, and stock brokerage houses. He worked as a director for seven years at KPMG and five years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Furthermore, he has experience working professionally in the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Panama, Honduras, Nicaragua, and other countries in the region. He has experience in both domestic and international trade, industry, and service organizations. He received his training in the United States, Mexico, Spain, and Panama.

EVIDENCE is an audit firm with independent professionals who have extensive experience in the sector.
