Remembering our CFO, Colin Meager who passed away on January 11, 2021 in Birmingham, UK.

• Rest in peace Colin – you will ever stay in our heart, in our mind.
• Colin, a wonderful and selfless man….a servants heart…….a helpful friend and advisor when my oldest daughter worked in the UK.

• Colin was a friend, a true leader and a pillar of Integra.  We will miss him so much.
• My heartfelt condolences to his family and staff. Colin was a gentleman through and through.
• There are no words… this is such a huge loss. Colin has been a wonderful friend, a lovely person to work with and he has been so incredibly brave in the last few months.
• Such a great guy. We enjoyed talking about English, European and American history whether in person or by email. I will miss him greatly as will all of Integra.
• Colin was  the gentleman among us.  We will all miss him.  Rest In Peace our friend.
• We worked very closely together. Colin's passing is a great loss to the Integra family.
• Colin was the first member of Integra that I ever met and he encouraged us to join. We travelled together on many flights to conferences and meetings and shared many wonderful times together. I last spoke to him just over a week ago and he was still telling me that he was feeling better. I felt then that he was being brave beyond words.

• Colin was a nice fellow, a good professional, a good friend and a reliable person.mRest in peace dear friend.
• He was a real nice man and a real friend ... I will miss him very much.
• He was a humble and sweet man and he’ll be missed.  Prayers for his family as they deal with his passing from this world.

• I appreciate his great efforts and contribution to Integra International and miss him a lot.
• We will miss his warm personality, selflessness and dedication to the Integra family.

Message from Global Chair

Happy New Year!  I am looking forward to a robust, exciting year for Integra International and our members.  Although the pandemic caught all of us by surprise and was a challenging year, we all learned valuable lessons and supported each other in various ways.  We pivoted to an increased internal social media presence by sharing ideas, issues and solutions.  We worked closely with our members to ensure they would be connected to each other for support and guidance. As we have all been learning and adapting to these new ways of doing business, it will only make us all more efficient.  In 2021 Integra will continue to provide platforms in which we can share ideas and best practices.

Despite the challenges of 2020 we were able to grow our membership and we anticipate this growth to continue in 2021 with the addition of solid members in strategic locations.  Integra is one of the fastest growing accounting organizations in the world and allows our members access to over 5,000 professionals and many well-known and respected subject matters experts.

The appeal to many of us as we operate as entrepreneurs is that our association provides more freedom to operate the firm in the way the firm decides, as opposed to a network which may require less flexibility. As an agile organization, we will continue to explore areas in which we can increase value to our members and their clients.  We will also continue to ensure our members are the highest quality of firms, who will take care of your client in the same manner it would be taken care of by your own firm.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated group of both regional and global board members.   In addition to working with clients in their own firms, our Directors provide valuable time to our organization and guide Integra through both day to day operations as well as long term strategic issues.  I would like to welcome and applaud those new board members who have a joined us in 2020:

In closing, we look to a very bright future together in 2021 and we hope to return to face to face conferences as soon as this becomes comfortable.  Face to face meetings are critical to the success of Integra.  It is during these meetings that we really get to know each other on a personal level and gain comfort in referring business to each other.  We will take care in planning such conferences as soon as we are able to obtain a reasonable level of attendance without sacrificing the safety of our members.

Given that our members and colleagues spend a great deal of time in the office, and sometimes under high stress situations, it is imperative that staff have basic first aid training and are equipped to handle an emergency until first responders arrive.

It is also our way of showing that we care, and remember the many contributions of our former global chairman and friend Doug White, who was the heart of our organization.
